Perry’s 66 puts Dons right behind Westlake

Santa Barbara's Jack Perry turned in a 66 on Tuesday at Los Robles golf course in Thousand Oaks to lead the Dons boys golf team to a second place finish at a four-team meet.Westlake's Brandon Hagy earned medalist honors with a 5-under 65 to help Westlake edge the Dons in the team competition 364-369. A strong wind hampered the Dos Pueblos girls golf team at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande on Thursday, and their 462 put the Chargers in 13th place at the CIF Sectional playoff. Sophomore Emily Fox took medalist honors for the Chargers with an 80 on the par-72 course. Chargers earn shot at CIF title

Dos Pueblos' Nicole Bullemer nearly achieved medalist status on Monday at the CIF team divisional playoffs, as her five-over 77 was just one shot off the lead at River Ridge Golf Course in Oxnard. More importantly, Bullemer's terrific score helped the Chargers secure second place behind Hart and a berth in the CIF finals on Thursday.DP scored a 426 as a team, 16 strokes behind Hart.
