Over four hundred competitors came out to Leadbetter Beach on Wednesday hoping for success and fun at Nite Moves. The 22nd season of the Nite Moves series at Leadbetter Beach is in full swing after the fourth weekly race on Wednesday evening. A total of 343 competitors took to the 5K run, half-mile swim or both this week, and race director Jake Clinton has been very pleased with the turnout thus far."Things are going great. Three runners ran the 5K in under 17 minutes at the second Nite Moves race on Wednesday at Leadbetter Beach. Santa Barbara's David Monico was the top runner, clocking in at 16:32, while Michael Smith (16:34) and John Plimpton (16:51), both of Goleta, were close behind.
