San Marcos’ Lake takes the cake again
San Marcos' Julian Lake took home a first-place title for the Royals wrestling team on Saturday from the San Bernardino Tournament at Arroyo Valley High School.Lake defeated a wrestler from Etiwanda, which won the tournament as a team, in the 191-pound division by a score of 4-2 in overtime. Lopez reels in a sixth in Temecula
Dos Pueblos' Chuy Lopez placed sixth at the prestigious Temecula Valley Invitational, which attracted 88 teams.Lopez was seeded 11th but defeated the No. 8 and No. 6 seeds by technical fall and pin, respectively, to advance to the fifth-place match.
