UCSB’s Milne, Haroldson named All-Big West

UCSB's Ruth Milne broke the career saves record this season for the Gauchos.

Juniors Ruth Milne and Shelby Haroldson were named 2012 All-Big West Conference selections it was announced by the league's office today. Milne garnered First Team honors while Haroldson was named to the Second Team.Milne was one of two goalkeepers that received honors from the conference and the only to be named to the All-Big West First Team. Northridge nips Gauchos for 3rd

Gauchos force overtime but fall in Big West semis

Gaucho win on the first day of Big West Tournament

The Gauchos kicked off the Big West Conference Tournament on a beautiful afternoon in Davis, California. UCSB clinched a win against Pacific this evening at UC Davis Schaal Aquatics Center, 9-5.The Gauchos took control in the first quarter, when they scored three unanswered goals by Pacific. Gauchos lock up Big West’s third seed

STOCKTON - No. 15 UCSB (19-13, 3-2) defeated Pacific (10-16, 2-3) earlier this morning, 8-7. The Gauchos opened up the game with two back-to-back goals. It was a good day for women's UCSB water polo on Saturday as the No. 16 Gauchos (14-10) won a pair of games against Iona (6-5) and Bucknell (8-9). The Gauchos faced Iona in the first game of the day at 12 pm and pulled out a win, 7-6. Hafferkamp’s hat trick lifts Gauchos over Harvard

No. 16 UC Santa Barbara (12-10) returned home Saturday afternoon, defeating Harvard 10-9.The Gauchos were on fire in the first quarter of the game.
