Warriors move past Savanna into quarters

Carpinteria's girls tennis team kept its season alive on Monday, advancing to the quarterfinals in CIF Division V after a 12-6 victory over visiting Savanna.It's the second playoff win for the Warriors, who move on to play again on Tuesday against top-seeded Aquinas. Stratman makes history with 4th Channel League singles title

It’s mission accomplished for Lauren Stratman.The Dos Pueblos senior tennis star became the first player to win four Channel League singles championships since 1992 by beating Santa Barbara freshman Mattea Kilstofte in Friday’s  final, 6-0, 6-2, at Knowlwood Tennis Club.
