Boscacci blitzes 200-free like no other Don
Karl Boscacci made changes to the Santa Barbara High record book on Tuesday, posting the school’s best-ever time in the 200-freestyle and the second-fastest in the 100-butterfly.
The Dons boys team fell 114-71 to visiting Oaks Christian, however, while the girls salvaged a 93-93 tie after taking the top two spots in the day’s final event.

Chargers see results in Channel League opener
Dos Pueblos picked up easy victories in boys and girls swimming on Tuesday, defeating visiting Ventura in the Channel League opener for both teams.

The Santa Barbara High pooldeck was jam-packed on Friday afternoon for the Channel League Relays, which brings together the league’s five schools for a season-opening relay-only meet.

Wilson, May recipients of major Big West awards
UCSB swimming head coach Gregg Wilson and senior Anne Marie May were awarded with a pair of major Big West Conference honors it was announced Wednesday by the league office. Wilson was named the 2010 Men’s Co-Coach of the Year while May was named the 2010 Women’s Swimmer of the Year.
