The 27th annual Bartlein Squash Championships is taking place at the Santa Barbara Athletic Club, beginning Friday and running through the weekend.On Saturday night there will be a professional exhibition match between David Palmer, former world No. 1 and current world No. 8-ranked player, against Julian Illingworth, the current U.S. National Champion, ranked 32nd in the world. Cate squash takes on SBAC, SBSOS
Cate School’s varsity squash team played two informal round-robin squash matches with six members of the Santa Barbara Athletic Club and four of the most experienced students from the Santa Barbara School of Squash on Sunday Jan 18. The SBAC members prevailed seven matches to six, and the SBSOS students also won seven while only losing four. Cate squash has best week in program history
It has to have been the best week of Cate School Squash Team history for both quality and quantity. Everyone improved, everyone had some wins, and the team bonding was even better.
