An international collegiate all-star rugby match between the United States and New Zealand will be played at UCSB’s Harder Stadium on Wednesday night.The USA Rugby Men’s Collegiate All-Americans face the New Zealand Universities at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the match is free.The game is part of a California tour by the Kiwis. The All-Americans scored an impressive 60-17 victory in the opener in San Diego. Gaucho rugby team wins twice to reach Final Four

USA Rugby’s Collegiate National Championships comes to SB

Local rugby fans are in for a treat this weekend as UCSB's Harder Stadium is hosting 16 men's and women's teams taking part in USA Rugby's Collegiate National Championships. It is the first time in the program's history that it is hosting so many games for the national tournament.Games begin on Friday at 1 p.m. and continue through Sunday. The Santa Barbara Grunion fell to Los Angeles on Saturday at Elings Park.

The Santa Barbara Grunion may not be a playoff team this season, but that didn't stop the local rugby club from attracting a host of fans to its second-to-last home game at Elings Park on Saturday.The more experienced and superior-skilled L.A.
