Eight Vaqs named to All-APC
SBCC sophomores-Oscar Medina, Lamont Dupree and Jakharie Murphy have been named to the first-team All-American Pacific Conference football team.Medina, the Vaqueros leading receiver with 50 catches for 649 yards and 2 TDs, made the offensive first team while Dupree and Murphy were defensive choices. Medina filled in at quarterback after John Uribe was hurt in the sixth game, completing 19 of 34 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. Thousand-yard feast goes to East L.A.

The Santa Barbara City College football team had an offensive surge on Saturday, beating host L.A. Valley 41-24.The Vaqueros (3-6, 2-6) rushed for 245 yards on 37 carries as a team.
