CIF Polls: Dons strongest of strong Channel League

CIF Polls: Chargers knock Dons from rankings

Dos Pueblos' baseball team doused the red-hot Santa Barbara Dons baseball team last week, ending its 11-game win streak as well as knocking it from the CIF Division II rankings.The Chargers threw a wet blanket on the Dons' recent success, sweeping Santa Barbara in a two-game Channel League series before the Dons rebounded with a 6-5 victory over Granada Hills. Lo and behold, with already a week of full competition in the books, spring sports are back in force. Santa Barbara High didn't surprise anyone by earning the top seed in the CIF boys soccer Division II bracket, which was released on Monday afternoon along with the girls pairings.The Dons finished the season at 24-0-1, and will host the winner of Tuesday's wild card matchup between Littlerock and Martin Luther King.
