BSoc: Barron, Hutton, Snider named Channel MVPs

Pepe Barron - Santa Barbara High Soccer

Santa Barbara High senior Pepe Barron led the league in goals scored.

Santa Barbara High forward Pepe Barron was named the Channel League’s Offensive Most Valuable Player in boys soccer.

Barron, a senior forward, scored 20 goals on the season and led the Dons to the league championship.

Jumoke Hutton of Santa Barbara and Tucker Snider of Dos Pueblos were chosen as the Defensive MVPs.

Santa Barbara’s Todd Heil and Matt York of DP shared Coach of the Year honors.

Dos Pueblos finished second in the league standings, followed by Buena and Ventura with identical records, then San Marcos.
