Bishop Diego volleyball swept Malibu on Thursday, starting with a commanding win in the first game, 25-9. Several Cate School's varsity swimmers had their best times recorded on Thursday in a swim meet against Grace Brethren and St. Bonaventure. Cate's Varsity girls won with a score of 93, while Grace Brethren came in a distant second with 38, and St. Bonaventure in third with 19. Carpinteria's Catalina Maldonado pitched a no-hitter against Mission Prep in San Louis Obispo Tuesday, winning 16-0. The game lasted only 5 innings due to the mercy rule.
