The Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's 18-Blue Team finished 3rd overall in the final SCVA Regionals tournament this past weekend. Coach Liz Towne-Gilbert said that all of her players had strong performances in the tournament. The Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's 12 Blue team, coached by Tina Brown, had an incredible Memorial Day weekend at Regionals. SBVC 15-Blue conquers Waves, takes second

The Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's 15-Blue team, seeded in a power pool of the top 8 teams in their division, finished 2nd overall in the last mandatory tournament, losing to nemesis Long Beach 25-23 in the final set in the championship round. “We got a little revenge in pool play beating Wave-14s 25-13, 25-20, who destroyed us in the first tourney of the year. Having moved back up in Division 1 the previous tournament, the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's 14-Blue team came out strong last Saturday, winning their first two matches solidly against Vision Zone and Temecula Valley. In Anaheim this past weekend, the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club's 16-Blue team won its pool and all its playoff matches to get back into Division 1. Coach Jake Hong gave accolades to his team for working hard and playing well to reach their goal of getting back into the top division after dropping down to Division 2 in its last mandatory.
