The rivalry between the Santa Barbara Foresters and the San Luis Obispo Blues reached a fever pitch on Sunday as the teams nearly came to blows after a couple of players were hit by pitches.The Foresters won the game 7-0 as pitchers Thomas Lemke, T.J. Capone captures amateur Ironman title

Elite Racing Team, a Santa Barbara-based triathlon team dedicated to the development of top age group and elite athletes, announced today that Lauren Capone won the amateur women's title at the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in Lawrence, Kansas on Sunday, June 12, earning a slot at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships to be held in Las Vegas on September 11. The Santa Barbara Breakers Professional Basketball team won two games on Saturday to take back the WCBL crown that denied them in 2010, with a resounding 130-108 semi-final win over the Venice Beach Ninja's and four hours later, defeated the West L.A. Hana Surf Girls made its World Premiere at the 2010 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

West Coast’s College Golf Combine in California

The 2011 College Golf Combines will expand its schedule to four regional combines and will increase the opportunities for junior golfers to be evaluated by College Golf Coaches.More than 600 recruits and 150 coaches are expected to participate at the four combines.
