SBSC U-12 defeats Gunners for CSL Cup

Santa Barbara Soccer Club Boys Under 12 White Team: Timothy Heiduk, Carson Vom Steeg, Raul Guerrero, Eric Contreras, Lalo Delgado, Giovanni Acosta, Juan Pablo Alverez, Shea Blackman, Jacob Blacker, Tony Andoyan, Benjamin Garcia, Peter Bermant, Tanner Mees, Francisco Arroyo and Chariat (Lucky) Puengrod.

The Santa Barbara Soccer Club Boys Under 12 White Team won the  prestigious Coast Soccer League Cup tournament in San Juan Capistrano on Saturday. The tournament consisted of 164 youth club soccer teams vying to be the best in Southern California.The boys team defeated the South Bay Gunners in the finals 2-1.  Timothy Heiduk scored the first goal for SBSC early in the second half with a clean header from a free kick by Juan Pablo Alvarez.  The SBSC boys took a 2-0 lead in the 55th … [Read more...]

The Santa Barbara Soccer Club made a big impact at the 31st Cal South State Cup competition at the San Bernardino soccer complex, with the club’s under-14 and under-15 boys’ teams both winning State Cup titles.
