Gauchos lose to Oregon State in “Pink Zone”
The UCSB women’s basketball team looked pretty in pink Tuesday night through its efforts to raise breast cancer awareness, but the Gauchos were left blue after a 70-51 loss at home to Oregon State.While the Gauchos racked up a school-record record 12 blocks, they also gave 14 turnovers to the Beavers and were out-rebounded 38-26. Dons rally past Kennedy to advance
Thanks to the Santa Barbara boys soccer team's solid offensive and defensive play, the Dons advanced to the second round of the CIF Division II playoffs after defeating visiting Kennedy 2-1 Friday afternoon.Head coach Todd Heil said his team played well throughout the game but needed a little extra push to overcome Kennedy.
