Laguna Blanca dropped its first 8-man football game of the season, falling 20-16 at Thacher in a Condor League game.
The Owls are 6-1 overall and 2-1 in league going into next Saturday’s regular-season finale against undefeated Cate at Laguna.
Wakelin McNeel rushed for two touchdowns and Pierce O’Donnell had two interceptions for the Owls.
