Mallory Sestak led the San Marcos girls golf team to its second victory of the young season on Tuesday as the Royals turned in a 230-342 non-league decision against Santa Ynez at Sandpiper Golf Course.
Sestak was the low scorer for the Royals for the second match in a row as the team bettered its score by eight strokes from the season opener. Sestak tallied 41, followed by Remi Ho’s 43.
San Marcos (2-0) travels to Righetti on Wednesday.
