Top-seeded Spencer Ekola of Bishop Diego completed an undefeated regular season by winning his third straight Frontier League singles title, defeating No. 2 Max Prestwich of Nordhoff in a rain-interrupted final at Villanova in Ojai.

Ekola won the first set 6-3 and was trailing 4-2 in the second set when play was stopped because of rain. When play resumed the following day, Ekola won four straight games to win the set, 6-4, and the championship.

Ekola went 24-0 in league play and is 39-0 for the season.

In doubles, the Bishop team of Roberts and Vasquez finished fourth, losing the third-place match to Foothill Tech, 6-4, 6-3.
