SFT: Chargers blast eight homers in two wins

Dos Pueblos went on a hitting rampage in its last two games at the Thousand Oaks Tournament, belting eight home runs in wins over Oxnard and Pacifica on Saturday.

In the opener, Ali Milam ripped two homers and Lani Evans hit one in a 7-2 victory. Milam had four RBI in the game and Evans went 3-for-3.

On the mound, Evans dominated the Yellowjackets, striking out 14.

Siena Wagner had a breakout game in a 13-0 win over Pacifica. She smacked two homers, including a grand slam in the third inning, and finished 3-for-3 with 7 RBI.

The Chargers hit five homers in the game. Veronika Gulvin hit a two-run shot in the first inning and a solo blast in the fourth, and Jade Sinskul hit a two-run homer in the fifth.

Gulvin allowed four hits struck out nine and didn’t walk a batter in the five-inning game.
