Carpinteria’s softball team had a lackluster day on Monday in a 4-0 defeat to Channel Islands.
The Warriors mustered two hits against the Raiders as their season record fell to 4-5. The team has a week of practice until its next game next Wednesday at home against Hueneme.
Channel Islands improves to 3-5.
