Dons star Brace, Providence standout Eaton earn All-CIF honors

Santa Barbara High’s do-it-all junior Bolden Brace was selected to the All-CIF Division 2A boys basketball team and Providence senior scoring ace Matthew Eaton was named to the Division 6 squad.

The 6-5 Brace, the Channel League MVP, led the Dons to the league title and the 2A semifinals. He averaged 20.5 points, 4.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals on a team that went 29-6.

Also making the 2A team is Stanford-bound Cameron Walker of Righetti.

Eaton averaged 19.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and two steals a game for Providence.
