Alex Furukawa and Philip Hicks swept three sets each for Laguna Blanca on Wednesday in a 12-6 victory over Oxnard.
Furukawa, a freshman, won 6-3, 6-0, 6-4. Hicks, a junior, breezed 6-1, 6-1, 6-1. The doubles team of Martin Barnick and Connor Elmore swept as well to lead Laguna.
The Owls were without two starting players who are a part of the Laguna soccer team that is making a deep run in the CIF playoffs.
