The Cate girls basketball team started off hot and never looked back as they took down Fillmore 42-28 on Thursday.
A particularly versatile Elan Halpern led the way with 15 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals on the day while Brittany Newsome finished with 11 points and 7 rebounds.
The Rams will travel to play Thacher on Tuesday.
