Santa Barbara High scored off a free kick in the 66th minute and tied Santa Ynez 1-1 in a non-league boys soccer game on Friday in Santa Ynez.
Jorge Garcia Torres authored the goal for Santa Barbara. Carlos Hernandez served a free kick into the box and two Dons went up to meet it at the near post with the Santa Ynez goalkeeper. The knocked into the path of Garcia and he hit a one-time shot into the back of the net.
Santa Ynez took a 1-0 lead in the 44th minute.
Santa Barbara (4-1-1) is back in action Monday at Lompoc.
