Dos Pueblos split its matches on the opening day of the Hart boys soccer tournament on Friday.
The Chargers fell to Valencia, 2-1 and bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Saugus.
Jessie Jimenez scored on rebound of a Tim Heiduk blast for a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute against Saugus. The Chargers made it 2-0 when Calvin Schipper finished a corner kick from Jonathan Garcia in the 26th minute.
Saugus cut the lead in half in the second half, capitalizing on a poor clearance. The Chargers iced the win when a Heiduk cross was hit into the Valencia goal for an own goal. Two minutes later, Jimenez flicked a through ball to Manny Nwosu for the fourth goal.
Against Valencia, DP fell behind 2-0 before Heiduk scored on free kick from 24 yards.
The Chargers, 4-5-2, return to the tournament on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
