Santa Barbara advanced to the championship game of the Simi Valley Tournament by beating the host team, 69-57, in the semifinals on Friday night.
The Dons had five players score in double figures, led by Ben Clay with 14 points. Bolden Brace and Chris Wagonhurst each scored 12 points, Max Henderson and Chris Givens each had 11 points..
Givens gave the Dons a big lift with seven points in the final five minutes of the game. Henderson also made some critical plays down the stretch.
Santa Barbara plays Valencia in the final at 6 p.m.
