LOS ANGELES (Oct. 17) — Actor Lou Ferrigno, “The Incredible Hulk,” former Mr. Universe and Mr. America, is pleased to announce the first annual Ferrigno Legacy™ Pro-Amateur Fitness and Bodybuilding Festival to be held Nov. 28-29, 2014 at the Granada Theater in Santa Barbara, CA. The exciting event for fans, fitness enthusiasts, personal trainers and attendees offers a full slate of activities, non-stop entertainment, how-to demos and challenges as top athletes compete for cash prizes.

Festival highlights include 300 athletes showcasing the best in men’s and women’s bodybuilding and physique, “fit-not-ripped bikini” contests, fitness Q&A with the legends, live backstage interviews, celebrity opening and after party gala. As an official IFBB/NPC “national qualifier” for amateurs to compete for pro status and professional athletes competing for Mr. Olympia qualification, the event will be hosted by actor Lou Ferrigno, Jr., former bodybuilder/author Shawn Ray, and title sponsor World Gym International.

Invited celebrities, pro athletes and friends of Lou Ferrigno expected to walk the red carpet opening night include Lou Ferrigno, Jr. (NCIS), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Christopher Lloyd, Jeff Bridges, Frank Stallone, Oprah Winfrey, Cheryl Tiegs, Alan Thicke, Kathy Ireland, Chuck Norris, Mickey Rourke, and bodybuilding champions including Phillip Heath, Shawn Ray, Jay Cutler, and others.
