Santa Barbara High struggled to gain any traction in Ventura on Thursday night and lost to the Cougars 25-17, 25-18, 25-13 in a Channel League match.
“We needed to bring our A-Game tonight and we didn’t,” said Dons head coach John Gannon.
The loss drops Santa Barbara’s league record to 1-2. Buena is next on the schedule a week from tonight.
