Carpinteria’s Kelsie Bryant will play for her fourth straight Tri-Valley League singles championship. The top-seeded senior won both her matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores on Monday.
Bryant, the three-time champion, will play Natalie Greco of La Reina in the final on Wednesday at Carpinteria High. Greco defeated Cate’s Eva Herman, 6-0, 6-2.
Herman needed three sets to get past Carpinteria’s Makenna Pike, 7-5, 1-6, 6-2, in the quarterfinals.
In the doubles final, Cate’s Julia Gan/Mckenna Madden faces Sophia Aulicino/Jacey Katch of La Reina.
The top two singles players and the top two doubles teams qualify for the CIF Sectionals on Nov. 24. The 3rd-place finishers will be the alternates to the CIF Sectionals.
