SB’s Henry Hancock and Rowan Peake defeated Laguna’s Ethan Katnic and Connor Curran
Santa Barbara High’s Henry Hancock and Rowan Peake defeated Laguna Blanca’s Ethan Katnic and Connor Curran in the finals of a seven-team tournament in Hope Ranch on Saturday.
The seven teams came from three local schools: three from host Laguna Blanca, one from Santa Barbara, and three from Dos Pueblos.
Hancock and Peake won 21-18, 16-21, 15-8 in the championship match.
Two Dos Pueblos teams were knocked out in the semifinals. Eli Wopat and Elliot Brainerd made the semis as did Mark Raphael and CD Sullivan.
