Cate dropped a 13-5 girls tennis decision to La Reina on Thursday. It was the Rams’ first loss of the season.
“I was pleased with our effort-level today,” coach Trevor Thorpe said. “Almost without exception, we went at it 100 percent and it was an exciting match. We’re looking forward to a rematch in a few weeks and I really believe we can close the gap to this strong La Reina team.”
Cate is 3-1 while La Reina improves to 4-0.
