Villanova used an advantage in singles on Tuesday to defeat Bishop Diego 11-7 in a Frontier League match.
Sierra Faoro’s two wins in three sets were the Cardinals’ only points in singles in the match.
The Cardinals won 5 of 9 doubles sets, however, led by the teams of Lilibeth Mamahua/Francesca Nash and Jackie Pacheco/Afreen Fathima who both won two sets.
Bishop Diego falls to 2-4 and the Cardinals travel to Santa Clara on Thursday.
