Carpinteria swept Nordhoff, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19, in a Frontier League boys volleyball match on Tuesday.
“We played the best match of the year,” said Carpinteria coach Marc Denitz. “We have played better for one game but never a match.”
The Warriors were led by Victor Saldana with 11 kills, Mason Picerni with 9 kills, and 4 blocks and Jesus Ortega with 34 assists.
The Warriors had contributions from Luis Ceja with 5 kills and 5 digs and Valente Pena with 5 digs and 6 service points.
Carpinteria even their record to 4-4.
