Tyler Heffernan was all over the pool and goalie Sam Johnson turned in a solid effort to lead the Santa Barbara boys water polo to a 13-4 Channel League win over Ventura on Thursday.
The Dons improved to 5-0 in league play.
Heffernan made his presence felt at both ends of the pool. He scored one goal, assisted on three others, had three steals and drew three ejections.
Connor McManigal led the Dons in scoring with four goals and Nate Hunter added three goals. Skyler Matthews was the main distributor, dealing out five assists.
Johnson keyed the Santa Barbara defense, blocking nine Ventura shots in the second half.
