Dons get job done at Pacifica

Santa Barbara High led 17-0 at halftime on its way to a 31-5 non-league victory at Pacifica on Friday night.

The Tritons were severely short-handed in the game due to more than a dozen suspensions and the Dons needed little time to take advantage. Quarterback Shawn Ramos connected with James Stevens for a 66-yard score on Santa Barbara’s first snap of the game.

The result improves Santa Barbara to 5-1 as they begin Channel League competition next week at Buena. The Dons were last 5-1 during the 2007 season.
