Laguna Blanca’s boys volleyball team won its playoff opener on Tuesday in a 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-14 decision over Pacific Lutheran.
The Owls took the Division 5 match despite dropping the first game to Pacific Lutheran, the Delphic League champion.
Andrew Vignolo and JT Aubery recorded team-highs with eight kills each and Andrew McCaffrey collected seven.
Ethan Katnic tallied 25 digs and Aubery added 22.
Laguna Blanca plays its second round match against second-seeded Chadwick on Thursday.
