Haile Rios retired all 15 batters for a perfect game in a club softball tournament.
Santa Barbara youth softball player Hailee Rios tossed a perfect game in a club tournament last Sunday.
Rios, pitching for the Camarillo VC Venom ’99, threw an 8-0 victory against Rip-It of La Crescenta. She struck out eight while retiring all 15 batters in the five-inning game.
VC Venom scored all eight runs in the fourth inning. Sophia Dagan hit a grand slam in the fourth.
VC Venom is made up of players from Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Simi Valley and Newbury Park.
