Dons put big inning in the bank

An eight-run fourth inning launched Santa Barbara High’s baseball team to victory on Thursday in a 10-3 decision over St. Joseph in the Central Coast Tournament.

The Dons collected six hits, two walks, and a hit batsman in the fourth inning.

John Bronstema, Tyler Nichoson and Kenny Crawford each recorded three hits. Conner McManigal knocked in a team-high three runs. Crawford and Max St. John both had 2 RBI. In total, the Dons tallied 11 hits.

The Dons run their record to 5-0 and Kees t’Sas pitched four innings for the win to improve his record to 3-0.
