Jason Jimenez was a big hitter for Santa Barbara High’s football team. On Tuesday, he showed he can provide big hits for the baseball team.
Kenny Crawford pitched six innings and picked up the victory for Santa Barbara.
Jimenez belted a grand slam in the fifth inning to lead the Dons to a 9-3 win over Arroyo Grande in a Central Coast Tournament game at Eddie Mathews Field.
Santa Barbara was leading 2-1 when Jimenez hit the big blow with one out.
