SB County’s Super Seven girls soccer rankings

There’s no stopping the Cabrillo offense. The Conquistadores remained the No. 1 team in the county after another dominating performance last week.

Santa Ynez is starting to come together and could challenge Cabrillo in the Los Padres League.

Carpinteria show it has some offensive firepower in an impressive win against Cate. The Warriors have a Frontier League showdown with Bishop Diego this week.

1) Cabrillo (9-1-5) — def. Santa Maria 6-1; Conquistadores have shredded defenses for 37 goals.

2) Dos Pueblos (9-2-5) — def. San Marcos 2-0. Chargers may be the class of the Channel League this year.

3) Bishop Diego (7-2-2) — def. Ocrutt Academy 7-2; tied Channel Islands 1-1. Gabby Koepenick score four goals last week.

4) Santa Ynez (4-6-1) — def. Lompoc 4-0; def. Morro Bay 9-0; Pirates, 2-0-1 in league, are rounding into form after a slow start.

5) Righetti (5-2-3)  — lost to Arroyo Grande 1-0; def. St. Joseph 3-0. Warriors rebounded nicely after tough loss to AG

6) Carpinteria (2-1-1) — def. Cate 5-0. Warriors blitz city rival.

7) Laguna Blanca (1-5) — def. Villanova 6-1. Becca Braley scores hat trick, and Owls are finding their form.
