SB County’s Super Seven Boys Soccer Rankings

After playing higher division teams in its non-league schedule, Cate crushed its first two opponents in the Condor League by a combined score of 11-0. The Rams remain the No. 1 team in this week’s county poll.

Unbeaten Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara stayed in the Nos. 2 and 3 spots. Santa Ynez needed overtime to get past feisty Santa Maria and then outlasted Cabrillo in a first-place showdown in the Los Padres League. Santa Barbara posted back-to-back shutouts over city rivals.

Pioneer Valley jumped into the No. 4 spot while Carpinteria, after a stunning league-opening blowout loss at Oaks Christian, fell out of the top 7.
