PHOTO GALLERY INTRO: Just like any year, the 12 months of 2011 were filled with a ton of great local sports moments. Presidio Sports has collected its favorite images from the last year to bring you back.

Kiley Neushul and the Dos Pueblos Chargers girls water polo team completed an undefeated season with a CIF-ss Division I title and a Player of the Year award for Neushul. (Agapito)

The Royal Couple caused quite a stir in July when Prince William played in a benefit polo match in Carpinteria. (Agapito)

John and Mardi Warkentin made an impact in 2011 with a $500,000 donation that made the new turf field and stadium upgrades at San Marcos High School a reality. (Weiss)

UCSB's Orlando Johnson, pictured, and the UCSB men's basketball team enjoyed a big year. Johnson and the Gauchos reached the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight year in March. Then, Johnson was selected to lead the U.S. delegation at the World University Games' Opening Ceremonies. On November 30, the Gauchos and UNLV engaged in a double-overtime classic at the Thunderdome. Luis Silva had a banner senior season for UCSB, scoring 17 goals and collecting a number of postseason awards, including First-Team All-American. (Agapito)
