Racich becomes 2-time Channel League MVP

Taylor Racich is a two-time Channel League MVP after receiving the distinction for the second-straight season.

Dos Pueblos, led by league Coach of the Year Todd Garrett, won seven-of-eight games in league play to clinch its third-straight league title. The Chargers went on to reach the CIF-ss Division 1-AA seminfinals.

The Chargers will graduate much of this year’s team, including Racich and first-teamers Amanda Moriarty and Katie Spieler, plus three second-team selections.

Santa Barbara High placed Holland Crenshaw, Kira Schleich and Dani Rottman on the league’s First Team.

San Marcos junior Kristen Berlow is the only Channel League First-Team member returning next season.
