PHOTO GALLERY INTRO: The UCSB men’s basketball team routed Santa Clara in the Thunderdome on Tuesday 89-56. UCSB improves to 2-0 on the season while Santa Clara suffered its first loss and falls to 1-1. James Nunnally led all scorers with 24 points and added eight rebounds and three assists.

Santa Clara's Evan Roquemore finds an open jumper in the lane. Roquemore was one of many Broncos who could not find their shot. As a team, they shot only 32.8 percent.

Christian Peterson started again for the Gauchos and collected five rebounds, two assists and a steal. He also scored two points but did not attempt a field goal on the night.

Kyle Boswell scored in double figures for the second consecutive game. He's the team's third-leading scorer behind Nunnally and Orlando Johnson with an 11.5 ppg average.
