UCSB's biggest crowd of the season of 5,516 was treated to a double-overtime thrill ride at the Thunderdome.

Royals fall to Burbank for first loss

After two double-digit wins to open the season, San Marcos' boys basketball team was challenged by Burbank in a 56-53 setback to the Bulldogs.Burbank held a nine-point lead with three minutes to go but the Royals fought back and brought themselves to within on point after a late Chad Ridenour 3-pointer.
