Royals respond well on tough Cypress Ridge course

Dos Pueblos opened its girls golf season in the heat of the Santa Clarita Valley and on a long TPC Valencia course.The Chargers, who started two freshmen, made a good showing in a 262-276 loss against Valencia on Tuesday.Returning player Bekah Beveridge and Hanna Nolan each shot 49s for the DP."It was a good outing," co-coach Dan Cboi said. Dolphins steal the show at Reef & Run
