LOS ANGELES — UCSB’s seniors refused to lose.As a result, the Gauchos are going to the NCAA Final Four at Penn State.UCSB’s senior-laden men’s volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit and upset No. 1-ranked USC in the MPSF Tournament Final on Saturday night at the Galen Center. UC Riverside used an eight-run seventh inning on Saturday night to pull away from UCSB, 14-3.The Highlanders made it seven straight wins with the victory and improve to 6-5 in the Big West. Andrew Kolodinski, Chrissa Trudelle and the Westmont men's 4 x 800 meter relay team earned the title of Golden State Athletic Conference Champions on the opening day of the 2011 GSAC Track and Field Championships at Fresno Pacific.Kolodinski took first place in the men's javelin with a throw of 64.52 meters (211-8), which was 2.51 meters longer than his closest competitor.
