Nicki Brown had 15 kills and Ciena Colburn added seven for the Dos Pueblos girls volleyball team in a 25-10, 25-16, 25-15 Senior Night sweep of visiting San Marcos on Thursday. The victory wrapped up a second straight undefeated Channel League season for the Chargers (20-8, 8-0).
Jordan Roberts had a match-high 16 digs and Kendall Vincent added five of her own for the No. 8 Chargers, who now await the release of the CIF brackets on Sunday.
“It was a great team effort tonight. Congrats go to San Marcos, because every time we’ve seen them this year they’ve been better, and they’re well-coached,” said Garrett.
