Alexandria Peretiako shared medalist honors, but San Marcos fell short in the Channel League golf match, falling to Ventura 271-293 on Thursday at Santa Barbara Golf Club.
Peretiako shot a 49 to tie with Ventura’s Amanda Marshall.
“We had a good opportunity to grab a win today,” San Marcos coach Shawn Ricci said. “Going into the match, the girls set a goal for themselves and fell a little short. We look forward to playing better next week when we take on Santa Barbara on Tuesday and then Buena on Thursday.”
